Proto Imaging are a multi-disciplinary design and graphics studio, specialising in 3D graphics for the Defence, Marine, Aerospace, Medical, Transport and Engineering sectors. We are based in Exeter, Southwest England. Will create optimum 3D production pipeline - Storyboards, animatic, motioncapture, animation, lighting and rendering.

3D GRAPHICS, 3D VISUALS AND VISUAL EFFECTS

Specialists in cutting-edge 3D graphics and visual effects, capable of creating still or animated 3D visuals in a range of styles and complexity. Adapting to the client's requirements, we create 3D visuals ranging from photorealistic to stylised; virtual cameras can film conceptual ideas in virtual reality environments where the only limits are imagination. The latest technologies coupled with our expertise unleashes advanced visual effect solutions with few limits. 3D visualisation and visual effects are often used for visualising concept ideas, proving concepts, product design visuals, architectural walkthroughs and architectural illustration, archeological illustration, advertising, documentarys and marketing. Pre-visualisation/pre-viz is the cost-effective and increasingly essential stage in any design process.

INTERACTIVE 3D:
The Proto Imaging team have produced realtime 3D/interactive 3D graphics for Sony, Carlton, SEGA and LEGO. Proto Imaging offer the realtime 3d industry standard system, Holomatix Blaze3D, allowing quality, realtime 3D for the web.

SIMULATION 3D GRAPHICS:
Creation of optimised 3D assets for use in virtual reality environments. Applications include Signage systems and Human factors.

STEREO 3D Imaging:
Active and passive 3D systems. Proto Imaging use the same technology employed by Imax and 3D amusement rides.

VIRTUAL WALKTHROUGHS
Used by architects to help visualise a new building. Virtual walkthroughs as a presentation and training tool. As 3D specialists, Proto Imaging will build any environment, allowing users to fly-through and study it.
